Defcredit Bank formerly Defcredit.
Defcredit provide financial services to Defence personnel and their families, having commenced operations in 1975 as a Credit Union and recently growing to a bank. Defence Bank does not exist to make profits for its shareholders, the bank reinvests profits for its customers to ensure services and products on offer are highly competitive.
Defence Bank had grown out of its long term King Street address and the search began for office space that provided effective, energetic and a functional work environment that allowed its staff to provide its "excellent service" mandate for its members and customers.
Defence Bank's brief to Concept Office Interiors was to help find 1720sqm of suitable space in Melbourne’s CBD. After a thorough search and tenancy assessment, Levels 4 & 5 at 31 Queen Street Melbourne was selected.
Concept Office Interiors design team undertook a detailed brief from Defence Bank senior management and designed and constructed reception area; kitchen and break out areas; executive offices; boardroom and meeting rooms; call centre and training room; server room and workstations. Concept Office Interiors provided a full turnkey solution, producing detailed documentation and construction including partitions, glazing, joinery, data, electrical, loose furniture and mechanical services. The end result is an office space with clean elegant lines, bold corporate colours, subtly supported by neutral tones, simply and elegantly providing a highly productive work space for Defence Bank’s professional and committed staff and management.
